Annual Fund Chairman's Message

The following is a message from the Annual Fund Chairman Stephen C. Conley Sr.:

I began my tenure as the new ULI Annual Fund Chairman on July 1, 2017. I would like to thank you for your dedication to and support of the Annual Fund through the Annual Fund Product Council Competitions.

As you know, each year the Annual Fund supports the important, mission-focused work of ULI. Programs supported by the Annual Fund include UrbanPlan, a program in which ULI volunteers work in high schools and colleges to prepare the next generation of informed citizens on issues that affect the built environment. ULI’s Advisory Services program, which since 1947 has advised over 600 communities around the world on critical land use challenges, is also supported by the Annual Fund. I can think of few things more impactful in terms of ULI membership than the support of these programs that make such a difference in the communities where we all live, work, and play.

As a current UDMUC Red Product Council member, I understand the importance of Product Councils achieving 100 percent participation. Last year, the Responsible Property Investment Council (RPIC) achieved 100 percent participation on Monday, July 24, within the first month of the start of the 2018 competition! Thank you and congratulations to Council Chair Molly McCabe and Council Ambassador Philip Payne. Molly and Phil made it a priority to discuss the importance of the Annual Fund with RPIC’s members who responded quickly and generously. What a great example RPIC has set for all the remaining councils!

Thanks again for all you do to support ULI. I look forward to working with you again this year to assist the Annual Fund reaching its goal of $1.9 million in FY 2019.

Stephen C. Conley Sr.
